云斑天牛(Batocera horsfieldi(Hope))为板栗树重要害虫。它主要以幼虫蛀食板栗树干,常导致树干枯死,乃至整个树干断折。近年来,作者在禄劝县四个板栗生产乡调查表明,其为害轻者10—15％,重者40—70％,对板栗产量影响极大。云斑天牛在国内分布广泛,我省各板栗栽培区均有不同程度发生。据记载,此虫还可为害滇杨、核桃、栎树、桉树,以及柳、榆等十多种树木。
Batocera horsfieldi (Hope) is an important pest of chestnut tree. It mainly eats the chestnut trunk with larvae, often causing the trunk to die and even breaking the whole trunk. In recent years, the author in Luquan County, four chestnut production township survey showed that 10-15% of light damage, weight 40-70%, a tremendous impact on chestnut yield. Spotted Tian cattle widely distributed in China, the province chestnut cultivation areas have varying degrees of occurrence. According to records, this insect can also harm Yunnan yang, walnut, oak, eucalyptus, as well as willow, elm and so on more than 10 kinds of trees.
