治理北江水土流失 加速开发山区经济

北江上游是广东省水土流失严重地区之一,水土流失面积1100km~2,约占全省的10%。1985年省人大会议通过了《关于防治北江上游水土流失议案》,并作出决议,从1986年开始,用10年时间把北江上游80万亩严重水土流失和崩岗基本治理好。省政府并决定,从1986年起连续10年,每年投资100万元,韶关市政府亦决定在这10年内从地方财政中每年拨出25万元,用于治理北江上游的水土流失。这是党和政府对开发山区、振兴经济、造福后代的重要决策。 The upper reaches of the Beijiang River is one of the serious water and soil loss areas in Guangdong Province. Its soil erosion area is 1100km ~ 2, accounting for about 10% of the province’s total. In 1985, the provincial people’s congress adopted the “Proposal on Prevention and Control of Soil and Water Loss in the Upper Stream of the North River” and made a resolution that starting from 1986, a total of 800000 mu of serious soil erosion and landslide should be well controlled in 10 years in the upper reaches of the North River. The provincial government also decided to invest 10 million yuan annually for 10 years from 1986 onwards. The Shaoguan municipal government also decided to allocate 250,000 yuan a year from the local treasury for the purpose of harnessing the soil and water loss in the upper reaches of the North River. This is an important decision made by the party and the government over the development of mountainous areas, the revitalization of the economy and the benefit of future generations.
