浠水白莲河水库位于湖北省黄冈地区浠水县.该水利电力枢纽于1959年10月开始正式动工,1960年11月就已经建成一座69米高,259米长的粘土心墙土坝.总库容为11亿多立方米(正常蓄水位104米时的库容为8亿立方米),是一个可以进行多年调节的蓄水运用水库.1961年汛初水库开始正式蓄水并逐步发挥效益,当年7月东干渠即开始放水灌溉,目前灌区已扩展到56万亩;1964年7月1日三号机组开始发电,现已安装PO211—BM—225型号机组三台,
