The properties and structure of La (IAA) 3 · phen ternary complex (IAA: indole 3 acetic acid and phen: phenanthroline) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1HNMR, The effects of La (IAA) 3 · phen on the growth of wheat seedlings were investigated.
