2012年春,辽宁省朝阳县柳城镇袁台子村村民郭电志在其自留地耕作时,发现一个辽代纪年石棺。袁台子村支书袁威锋同志,带领朝阳博物馆于俊玉和朝阳市史志办特约研究员李龙同志,前往现场进行实地考察,测量、拓印、拍照,取得了石棺的相关数据。根据其石棺形制、所刻文字内容及装饰判定,其年代应为辽兴宗耶律宗真由1031年至1032年。
In the spring of 2012, Guo Zhizhi, a villager of Yuantaizi, Liucheng, Chaoyang, Liaoning, discovered a sarcophagus in the Liao Dynasty during the cultivation of its private plots. Comrade Yuan Weifeng, secretary of the Yuan Taizi village party branch, led Comrade Jun Li in the Chaoyang Museum and Comrade researcher Li Long in the Shi Zhi Office of Chaoyang City to go on-the-spot to inspect, measure, print and photograph photographs and obtain relevant data of the sarcophagus. According to its sarcophagus shape, the contents of the inscribed text and decoration, its age should be Liao Xingzong Yelv Zongzhen from 1031 to 1032.
