按现行的锰铁标准(6008—82、4755—80)要求,主要元素——锰含量应尽可能高,而对电硅热法生产和牌号金属锰来讲,锰含量应为95%—96.5%。过去早已指明,在生产含 Mn 或其它元素合金钢时,并不是要求铁合金中主要元素含量一定要高。例如,成功地应用了Φ70和Φ75牌号高碳锰铁,Φ20和Φ25牌号硅铁,Φ800和Φ800牌号铬铁以及主要元素含量低的钛铁、硼铁及其它铁合金。
