一、统计登记制度的缘起及其现状1.统计登记的目的和作用。一般来讲,统计登记是指为了查明统计调查对象的分布情况,对统计登记单位的基本情况进行登记、年度审验等的相关活动。实行统计登记的主要目的在于查清各类统计单位的地区分布、行业类别、单位类型、规模以及资产构成等情况,为抽样调查及其他统计调查建立科学的抽样框提供依据。统计登记的作用主要表现在为经常性抽样调查等统计调查提供基础性数据
