通过对我国民族古籍工作的历史和现状的分析,指出我国民族古籍工作的基本特点,即:地域的边远性、语言文字的多样性、布局的分散性、工作内容的复杂性、国际影响的广泛性、宗教影响的长期性;结合民族古籍工作实际,提出民族古籍工作的未来发展趋势是实现管理一体化、结构网络化、保护法制化、交流国际化、队伍专家化。
