在党的十二大精神的指引下,在党中央,国务院的关怀下,全国档案工作会议于1982年12月4日至14日在北京召开。出席这次会议的,有各省、市、自治区党委主管档案工作的副秘书长(或办公厅副主任),有中央、国家机关各单位和中央军委主管档案工作的办公厅(室)主任、副主任和档案部门负责同志,有省、市、自治区档案局、馆的负责同志以及中央档案馆、中国第一历史档案馆、中国第二历史档案馆、中国人民大学档案系的负责同志等共357人。
