美国是最早提出消费者权益保护的国家,其在保护的力度、保护范围等方面都是最完备的。中国消法出台时间较晚,在消费者保护领域还存在诸多不足。中美两国在保护消费者权益方面的很多制度和做法都有区别,本文主要在惩罚性赔偿问题上,比较研究两国具体区别,分析各自特点,目的是取其精华,完善我国消法,推进依法治国进程。
