Recently, scientists from the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in the United States found a new molecular relationship in pancreatic cancer cells that could help explain the causes of pancreatic cancer metastasis. Approximately 50,000 people suffer from pancreatic cancer every year in the United States, and the 5-year survival rate after diagnosis is only 5%.
