目前,关于老年人垂体瘤治疗的研究很少,本文通过复习病例,评价老年人垂体瘤的临床表现、治疗与结果。对象与方法研究病例为1986年1月～1993 年12月间Walton医院神经外科的垂体瘤确诊病例,病人年龄≥65岁,均行内分泌功能实验,接受垂体放射治疗(DXT)或手术治疗。由病例记录获取每例病人的临床表现类型、药物治疗、处理方法、围手术期并发症及治疗结果,统计学处理用ARCUS和Fisher’s精确检验。
At present, there are few studies on the treatment of pituitary tumors in the elderly. This article reviews the clinical manifestations, treatment, and outcomes of pituitary tumors in the elderly by reviewing cases. Subjects and Methods The study cases were confirmed by the Department of Neurosurgery at Walton Hospital from January 1986 to December 1993. The patients aged ≥ 65 years old underwent endocrine function tests and received pituitary radiation therapy (DXT) or surgery. Each patient’s clinical manifestations, medications, treatments, perioperative complications, and treatment outcomes were obtained from the case records. Statistical analysis was performed using ARCUS and Fisher’s exact tests.
