本研究目的在于探究大学生在英语口语课堂中的参与意识,以及影响大学生英语口语课堂参与的因素。本文采取了课堂观察和采访两种方式,以一个由35名学生构成的口语班作为研究对象。结果显示,有以下三种因素影响学生课堂参与:外教与学生的特点;外教的反馈;学生的英语水平。同时本研究还就如何提高学生口语课堂参与意识提出了一些参考意见。
The purpose of this study is to explore the students’ awareness of participation in oral English classes and the factors that affect the participation of college students in oral English classes. This thesis adopts two methods: classroom observation and interview, taking a spoken language class composed of 35 students as the research object. The results show that there are three factors that affect students ’classroom participation: the characteristics of foreign teachers and students; the feedback of foreign teachers; and the students’ English proficiency. At the same time, this study also put forward some suggestions on how to improve students’ awareness of spoken English.
