黄炎培(1878-1965),字任之,江苏川沙人。清末举人,早年加入同盟会,参加辛亥革命、讨袁运动,后赴美日菲等国考察教育,一生积极从事中国的教育改革,倡导并力行职业教育思想和实践,终成卓有建树的中国教育家。
Huang Yanpei (1878-1965), the word Ren, Chuansha, Jiangsu.
