2013年末,东京戏剧节邀我前来担任本届戏剧节公开征集项目单元评委。在成田机场降落时,天气晴好,但似乎感到一点点的寒意。恰在这个中日关系异常紧张的时候来到东京,并作为评审团中唯一一个非日本籍的亚洲评委,参加对所有九部亚洲戏剧作品的评判,我深知自己面临的局面将不会轻松。在五人的评审团中,有三位是日本(男性)评委,这使得评委会无论在民族还是性别上,都有一定倾斜。然而非常开心的是,我非常尊敬、喜爱的德国著名戏剧构作、维也纳戏剧节艺术总监斯蒂芬尼·卡尔普女士是除我之外的另
At the end of 2013, the Tokyo Theater Festival invited me to come to serve as the panel judge for this drama festival’s public solicitation project. When it landed at Narita Airport, the weather was fine but seemed to feel a little chill. Just as the Sino-Japanese relations were unusually tense, they came to Tokyo and became the only non-Japanese Asian jury in the jury to participate in the judging of all nine Asian drama productions. I am well aware that I am facing a situation that will not be easy . Three of the five jury members are Japanese (male) jurors, which gives the jury some bias both in ethnicity and in gender.
