参政议政、民主监督,是民主党派的主要职能。自中共中央(1989)14号文件贯彻以来,民主党派参政议政意识逐步增强,领域日益拓展,方式更加多样,参政议政水平有所提高。但在实际工作中仍然存在一些需要认真对待和解决的问题,特别是随着形势的发展变化,民主党派参政议政必然面临一些新情况、新问题,参政议政工作也必然要随之不断发展、深化,有些问题需要进一步探讨、研究。
Political participation and democratic supervision are the main functions of the democratic parties. Since the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (1989) implemented Document No. 14, the awareness of democratic parties in participating in the administration of state affairs has been gradually enhanced, and their fields have been expanding more and more in different ways and the level of participating in the deliberations and administration of state affairs has been raised.
