朱光亚原子核物理学家。1924年12月25日生于湖北宜昌。1945年毕业于西南联合大学。1949年获密执安大学物理学博士学位。历任北京大学副教授,东北人民大学教授,北京第九研究院副院长,国防科学技术工业委员会副主任,国防科学技术工业委员会科技委副主任、主任。1980年当选为中国科学院院士(学部委员)。1994年被选聘为中国工程院院士,当选为首任院长。先后当选为中国核学会副理事长,中国科协副主席、主席,中国共产党中央委员会候补委员、委员,中国人民政治协商会议全国委员会副主席。是我国核科学技术的主要开拓者之一,在我国核武器事业的发展中起了关键作用,做出了极为卓越的贡献。
Zhu Guangya nuclear physicist. December 25, 1924 Born in Yichang, Hubei. 1945 graduated from Southwestern University. In 1949 by the University of Michigan PhD in physics. He has served as associate professor of Peking University, professor of Northeast Peoples University, vice president of Beijing No.9 Research Institute, deputy director of National Defense Science and Technology Industry Committee, deputy director and director of Science and Technology Committee of National Defense Science and Technology Industry Committee. In 1980 was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Faculty member). In 1994 was selected as the Chinese Academy of Engineering, elected as the first president. He has been elected vice chairman of the Chinese Nuclear Society, vice chairman of China Association for science and technology, chairman, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, member, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee. Is one of the major pioneers of nuclear science and technology in our country and played a key role in the development of our nuclear weapons cause and made an extremely outstanding contribution.
