随着我国对外开放、对内搞活政策的实施和社会主义四化建设的飞速发展,成年人学习英语的越来越多,而共同的感觉是英语的语音难学。有的同志甚至想绕过语音这一关。很显然,这是办不到的。道理很简单,语音在语言三要素(语音、词汇、语法)中,占有极其重要的地位。语音是语言的物质外壳,词汇、语法只有通过语音才能得到体现。那么,怎样才能学好英语语音呢?据我在黄冈地区近二十年的英语教学实践,认为成年人(主要指黄冈地区的大专生、函授生、夜大生以及有一定英语基础的高中生)要学好英语语音并不难,关键在于掌握科学的方法,归纳起来就是六个宇:分析、比较、实践。
