我国水稻劳模陈永康同志的单季晚稻栽培的成套技术经验是我国劳动人民的经验结晶,党和政府很重视对这一问题的研究。1960年我院组织了学习与研究陈永康同志经验的综合小组。在陈永康同志的亲自指导下,四小块丰产田都获得了千斤以上的产量。根据最后的考种结果,发现中期施用有机肥料与穗大粒多粒饱的关系非常密切,而穗大粒多与粒重间又存有矛盾。为此,1961年又继续了这项研究。
