陕甘宁边区时期基层民主选举实践中,党在选举过程中贯彻群众工作路线,将选举宣传和教育、调查等工作融合在一起,充分调动了广大边区群众的参与积极性,通过基层选举宣传,切实解决了阻碍乡村发展的一些障碍,巩固完善了基层组织,为边区的经济社会发展、抗战的胜利提供了稳定的社会基础。这其中许多做法和思路是发展健全中国特色社会主义民主政治,尤其是基层民主,可以思考和借鉴的。
