随着中国对外开放程度的提高,学英语、讲英语已经成为一种时尚,英语在小学教育中的比重也越发增加,和语文、数学呈三足鼎立之势。孩子年纪越小,学习语言就越有利,小学无疑成了英语学习的关键阶段之一。可是目前小学英语教学的现状着实令人堪忧,英语毕竟是第二语言,学生学习起来难免枯燥乏味,积极性也不高。社会各界都将目光投向小学英语教学,英语教师在承担这份期盼的同时,肩上的担子也越来越重。
With the improvement of China’s opening to the outside world, learning English and speaking English have become a fashion. The proportion of English in primary education has also been on the rise. Compared with Chinese and maths, English has shown a tripartite confrontation. The younger the child is, the better the language is and the elementary school undoubtedly becomes one of the key stages of English learning. However, the status quo of primary English teaching is really worrisome. English is a second language after all. It is inevitable for students to learn boring and their enthusiasm is not high. All sectors of society are turning their eyes on primary English teaching. While English teachers are shouldering this expectation, the burden on their shoulders is getting heavier and heavier.
