70年代末80年代初,经过恢复、整顿后的档案事业开始了她的大发展时期。这一阶段,在工作的范围、内容上都有很大的扩展。表现在档案科学技术研究领域中,也很明显。据1985年统计,打倒“四人帮”后全国出版的公开和内部的档案专业书籍（包括各种专著、教材）,就有336种,还有象《档案工作》、《档案学通讯》、《档案学研究》以及各省出版的一批较有影响的档案专业刊物。1981年中国档案学会及各省档案学会陆续成立,群众性的档案科学研究活动更加广泛地开展起来。档案事业的发展给档案工作提出了许多理论的和实践的问题。
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, after the restoration, the archival work after the rectification began her grand development period. In 1981, the China Archives Association and provincial archives institutes were established one after another, and mass archival scientific research activities were carried out more extensively. The development of archives has brought many theoretical and practical problems to archival work.
