序言单面焊双面一次成形埋弧焊工艺在我国已应用多年。但长期以来,只有单丝单面焊用于生产,只能焊接厚度为12毫米以下的板列。而对14毫米以上者,由于单丝单面焊线能量太大,不能保证焊缝性能,因而只能用双面焊工艺焊接。为了使单面焊工艺推广到焊接14毫米以上的中、厚板列,就必须研究、设计适用于双丝双弧或多丝多弧单面焊的焊机。另一方面,不论是单面焊还是双面焊,用单丝进行焊接,速度太慢。特别是厚板的多道焊,速度就更慢。为了提高焊接速度,也要求研究设计双丝双弧或多丝多弧焊机。
