受全国自然科学基金委员会地球科学部委托,由西北大学和地矿部西安地质矿产研究所共同筹备的秦岭造山带学术讨论会于1989年11月1日至11月7日在西北大学进行,大会取得了圆满成功。来自全国有关地质矿产部门、科研单位和高等院校长期在该区从事地质研宄工作并已获得丰硕成果的专家、教授、学者和研究人员122人参加了会议。叶连俊、王鸿祯、马杏垣等老一辈著名地质学家也参加了会议。全国自然科学基金委员会地球科学部副主任张知非到会作了重要讲话。大会共收到学术论文298篇,有298篇摘要汇集为《秦岭造山带学术讨论会论文摘要》。
By the National Natural Science Foundation of Earth Sciences commissioned by the Northwest University and the Geological and Mineral Research Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources Xi’an Qinling orogenic belt jointly organized by the Symposium held November 1, 1989 to November 7 at Northwestern University, the General Assembly Has achieved complete success. 122 experts, professors, scholars and researchers from geology and mineral resources departments, research institutes and colleges and universities all over the country who have been engaged in geological research work in the area for a long time and have achieved fruitful results attended the conference. Ye Lianjun, Wang Hongzhen, Ma Xingyuan and other famous geologists also attended the meeting. Zhang Zhifei, deputy director of the Earth Science Division of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, made an important speech. A total of 298 academic papers have been received by the conference, and 298 abstracts have been collected as “Theses Abstracts of the Qinling Orogenic Seminar”.
