A brigade in our county, the past two years, the outbreak of typhoid fever. In order to control their incidence and to understand the serum levels of antibodies in different populations, I conducted a sample survey of typhoid fever patients, close contacts and healthy people in late January 1976. The results are summarized as follows: I.
