回顾1949～1978年中国区域经济发展历程,运用泰尔指数对1978～2007年区域差距进行测度并按地区分解,结果发现:改革开放以来,中国的地区差距经历了一个先缩小后扩大的过程。从地区构成上看,东部地区内部的省际差异对中国地区差距影响显著,但呈明显的下降趋势;东北、中部和西部地区的内部省际差异对全国的地区差异贡献较小,西部地区内部省际差异存在扩大的趋势;地区间差距仍是中国地区差距最为突出的问题,且整体上呈现出明显的扩大趋势,但2004年以来,地区间差距出现了缩小的迹象。
Recalling China’s regional economic development from 1949 to 1978, using the Theil index to measure the regional disparities from 1978 to 2007 and disaggregating by region, it finds that: Since the reform and opening up, China’s regional disparity has experienced a process of narrowing first and then expanding. In terms of regional composition, the inter-provincial differences in the eastern region have a significant impact on the regional disparities in China, but a clear downward trend; the inter-provincial and inter-provincial differences in the northeast, central and western regions have contributed little to the regional disparities across the country. There is an increasing tendency of inter-provincial differences. Inter-regional disparities are still the most prominent problems in China’s regional disparities. On the whole, they show a clear trend of expansion. However, the disparity between regions has shown signs of shrinking since 2004.
