2006年以来,我国极端气候事件频繁发生,灾情较常年偏重,灾区的恢复重建工作十分艰巨。灾害无情人有情。在灾害面前,党中央、国务院明确要求各地各部门坚持开展共产党员“送温暖、献爱心”社会捐助活动。截至11月中旬,中央部门单位广大干部职工和军队领导机关广大官兵共捐款4769万元,捐赠衣被数量也相当可观。虽然天气逐步转寒,但爱心汇成的暖流四处涌动,蕴涵在捐赠款和衣被里的爱心也正在中国大地火热传递。
