2016年3月24日上午,雪克来提·扎克尔主席听取自治区图书馆馆长历力就二期改扩建工程进展情况、工程建设资金等问题专题汇报,并对自治区图书馆事业发展、二期改扩建工程等作出了重要指示。雪克来提·扎克尔主席指出,自治区图书馆作为我区中心馆龙头馆,定位要准确,要有高度,要通过自治区图书馆事业的发展,充分体现出新疆的文化氛围、知识水准及新疆人不断追求知识、探索知识的精神风貌。
