Guigang City Traffic Management Department conscientiously implement the “port-driven project,” the spirit of strengthening the management of the water transport market, regulating the business owners, and achieved good results. Guigang Port is one of the ten most famous ports in the river in our country. Cargo transit flow is large. In 1994 and 1995, the port throughput exceeded 4 million tons. Owing to the poor market management and the existence of intermediate exploits in the transit routes of goods, many bulk cargoes were bypassed and the throughput of ports in Guigang dropped drastically year by year.
