Social networks are a source of information and a source of tension between lovers. Earlier studies have investigated the use of Weibo to monitor past and current lovers, but why some people have come into such behavior has not yet been fully explained. A total of 328 college students participated in an online survey examining whether two possible variables explain interpersonal electronic surveillance (IES) for couples: the type of attachment and the uncertainty of the relationship. The type of attachment predicts uncertainty and IES, including the highest level of concern and concern reports. Although uncertainty can not predict IES, however, the future direction of research on the relationship between couple and network surveillance research has been expanded.
