蚌虾,也叫蚌壳虫,是三北地区养殖池塘中较多见的甲壳类水生动物。在春季4~6月的鱼苗培育池中,众多危害鱼苗生长的敌害生物中,以蚌虾最为严重。蚌虾虽不直接捕食鱼苗,但当其突然大量发生时,便在水中上下翻滚,搅动池底泥,使池水很快变浑。它破坏了鱼苗的生长环境并与鱼争夺水中的饵料生物。因此它既影响水的透明度,阻碍正常的光合作用增氧,也惊扰鱼苗。特别是对放入鱼 Clam shellfish, also known as clam shellfish, is a more common aquatic shellfish in the breeding ponds of the Three North regions.
