当惠普Linux工作站在EDA(电子设计自动化)领域倍受推崇,IBM Linux服务器在电影背后稳定工作,人们才意识到Linux这个后来者正在将自己的梦想变为现实。被一些程序员拿来练手的Linux居然能登上大雅之堂,人们始终抱以怀疑态度。但从重量型厂商对它的支持力度的加大开始,就预示着Linux这个潮流即将来临。惠普目前的工作站90％为HP PA-RISC,采用HP-UX系统,但惠普明确表示要加大发展Linux的力度,惠普已在Linux上投资了约20亿美元。
When HP’s Linux workstations became so well respected in EDA (electronic design automation) that IBM Linux servers worked steadily behind the movie, people realized that Linux, the latecomer, was turning their dreams into reality. Linux was used by some programmers to actually practice the Board of Truth, people are always skeptical. However, heavyweight manufacturers from the support of it began to increase, it indicates that the trend of Linux is imminent. Hewlett-Packard currently 90% of workstations for the HP PA-RISC, using HP-UX system, but Hewlett-Packard made it clear that to increase efforts to develop Linux, HP has invested about 2 billion in Linux.
