该文探究了利益诉求行为在双语教育发展中发挥的推动作用,利益诉求的主体是双语教育的制定施行者和施行对象。国家作为双语教育政策的制定施行者,从宏观层面对双语教育的发展起主导作用,因此,国家的利益诉求是双语教育的基本驱动力,这种利益诉求表现在维护国家统一、促进国家经济及文化教育事业发展等方面。构成国家的各种族群体作为双语教育的施行对象,也从微观层面对双语教育的发展发挥作用,其利益诉求也是双语教育的重要驱动力,这种利益诉求一方面表现在保存发展本民族文化教育,另一方面表现在期望通过双语教育提高本群体子女的未来就业竞争力。
