位于长白山南麓的美丽边城吉林通化,与空军有着太多的渊源:中国第一支航空队在这里诞生,第一所航空学校在这里创建……这里还是被誉为“空军战魂”抗战英雄高志航的故乡,孕育了王海、张积慧、刘玉堤等英雄前辈……在中国空军从无到有、从弱到强的成长历程中,无不与这座英雄城市有着绵长血脉。当时光的车轮流转到新世纪的今天,人民空军的又一支新生队伍在这里成长起来,成为一支不可或缺的保障力量,这就是空军民兵分队。
