“你去看一汽和二汽的厂史,我在一汽12年,二汽23年,但在两厂主要厂史照片集里,从来没有我的身影,你采访过的其他人都是主角,所以我对你来访要我讲个人历史是很感意外的。”2009年10月15日,《汽车商业评论》在湖北十堰请86岁的老人支德瑜口述历史时,他如是说。支老口中的“意外”包括历年来所获得的荣誉以及其健康的身体状况。支老同时给我带来了一叠厚厚的文件资料,其中最引人注目的就是那本由东风汽车公司工艺研究所、东风汽车公司总师室和东风汽车报社编辑的《科技人生》。它之所以吸引我的眼球,是因为其中牵涉到的若干赫赫有名的人物——中共中央政治局常委王兆国题写书名,中华全国总工会原副主席王家宠、北京市政协原副主席李晨、两弹一星功勋奖章获得者中国科学院院士陈能宽、《人民日报》社高级编辑钟立群、中国机械工业协会会长张小虞、东风公司党委书记徐平题写祝辞,原东风公司总经理苗圩作序。当然,这其中除了整本书的文稿整理外,还有这位年届八旬的老人伏案写就的6万余字的生平自述。对于一个眼睛不太好,耳朵不太好,从不用手机和电脑的垂垂老者来说,这可说是项巨大的工程。而在接下来的两次近9个小时的讲述中,我听到了上述这些大人物们的如烟往事。按照其讲述,支老的曲折人生经历大致可分为两部分:“先经旧社会,在民族和人民苦难岁月中,度过了1/3的人生”;“后在解放之后……这段历史占我人生的2/3多”。支老把这些均归述于其“身体好,能做点事”。他笑言自己是个“三不高”(没有高血压、高血脂和高血糖)的人,以为不会得心脏病,结果先检查出癌症,过了7年又检查出冠心病,并且冠状动脉堵塞的地方还很多,做了3个心血管支架,当天就好转。“得了这类病,必然要考虑生死,所以到了我这样的年龄,要看淡生死,随时准备回归自然。”他说。
