本期《瞭望》出版的时刻,距离举世瞩目的第十一届亚运会开幕仅只有五天。连日来,首都国际机场上大型客机频繁起降,北京车站南来列车相继驶进站台,载来西迄地中海沿岸、东临大平洋广阔领域内亚洲各国家、地区参赛体育代表团队、热心体育的观光助兴旅客,以及数以千计的传播媒介采访人员。亚运会是亚洲的盛会,也将是世界的盛会。
