见月草,又叫山芝麻,为柳叶菜利月见草属二年生草本植物。株高1米,无限花序。初蕾期在6月下旬,盛蕾期在7月上旬, 由下而上逐渐开花。花期长达2～3个月,初花期在7月下旬至8月上旬,盛花期一般10～15天。种子成熟收获期一般在8月下旬至9月上旬。全生育期约150天。种植月见草投资少,经济效益高。月见草的鲜花浸膏和种子脂肪油均属紧俏商品,前者在广州交易会上的价格为每公斤3000元,目前国内仅停留在小样阶段;后者制成的胶丸是治疗高血脂的新药。用鲜花浸
