North Korea once achieved industrialization in China and also established a very modern agriculture. Although it has experienced the economic recession since the 1990s, it still has a lot of potential for recovery. North Korea’s economy and trade should take a strategically eyeing as the world’s number one trading power, Economic and trade share in our country’s foreign trade is very low, far from being comparable with South Korea. In 2011, China’s foreign trade was 3.6421 trillion U.S. dollars, of which trade with the DPRK was 5.64 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 0.15% of the total; trade with South Korea was 2,456 billion U.S. dollars
