改革开放以来,特别是近几年来中西方油画有了频繁交流和直观比较的机会,使我们在初次面对仰慕已久的西方油画艺术原作珍品而为之震撼之余,也使我们开始冷静清醒地审视过去对西方这一传统绘画艺术——油画内部自身规律的认识与研究不足,暴露出我们在观念认识和技术表现方面的一些问题。 “中国的油画色彩与造型在世界上是一流的,但在油画观念和材料技法方面是落后的。”我认为这个评价比较客观恰当地概括了我国油画艺术的现状。
