The Elvonlung off-hill, located in the province of Peloton in the eastern province of Chihuahua, consists of siliceous high-K calc-alkaline gray tuffs more than 700 meters in thickness, ranging in age from 33.7 ± 0.3 to 29.5 ± 0.5 m.y.
