1952年11月,多法斯柯厂(加拿大)按林兹——道那维茨法在三吨试验转炉中用顶吹氧气炼出了沸腾钢,用这种钢轧出了第一根钢锭。刚开始时,打算用转炉电炉双联法,然而在研究了最初几炉之后,发现在化学成分上转炉钢的质量与平炉钢的质量无异,因而也就没有用双联法的必要。在1954年初安装了一座8吨转炉,日夜三班可出钢20炉,在这座转炉里,吹炼出了大量的适合各种用途的钢,并在新炼钢操作法的各个阶段中积累了不少的工作经验。这种吹氧炼钢试炼研究的结果与别种炼钢法比较,证明转炉顶吹氧气炼钢要算最经济。
In November 1952, Dofacesco (Canada) produced the boiling steel with top-blown oxygen in the three-ton test converter by the method of Linz-Dinavitz using this steel to produce the first ingot . At the beginning, the intent was to use the double-circuit method in a converter furnace. However, after studying the first few furnaces, it was found that the quality of the converter steel was of the same chemical composition as that of the open hearth steel and there was no need to use the double-circuit method. In early 1954, an 8-ton converter was installed and 20 furnaces per day were available in three shifts, in which a large number of steels suitable for various purposes were blown and accumulated in all phases of the new steelmaking practice A lot of work experience. The results of this oxygen-based steel trial compared with other types of steelmaking tests show that the converter top-blowing oxygen steelmaking is the most economical.
