中国统计学会第六次全国代表大会暨海峡两岸及香港统计科学研讨会于5月25日至28日在四川省成都市召开。这次大会的召开,对于统计科学的未来和统计事业的发展将起到积极作用。大会的议题立意高远、内容广泛深刻,气氛活跃热烈。来自两岸三地的近二百位专家、学者及会员代表,紧密联系统计科学理论和统计工作实践,进行了研讨和交流。完成了中国统计学会的换届选举工作,产生了新的一届理事会和常务理事会。大会完成了各项议题,取得了圆满成功。
The Sixth National Congress of the Chinese Society of Statistics and the Cross-Straits Seminar on Statistics and Science in Hong Kong were held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province from May 25 to May 28. The convening of this conference will play an active role in the future of statistical science and the development of statistical undertakings. The theme of the conference is ambitious, broad and profound, and the atmosphere is very lively. Nearly 200 experts, scholars and member representatives from three places across the Taiwan Strait conducted discussions and exchanges in close connection with statistical science theories and statistical work practices. Completed the general election of the Chinese Statistical Society, resulting in a new Council and Standing Council. The conference completed various issues and achieved complete success.
