长期以来实行的助学金制度,给家境困难的儿童少年,提供了入学机会.随着人民生活水平的普遍提高,助学金已失去了原来的积极作用.1980年以来,许多学校逐步将助学金改为奖学金,但奖学金的分发,主要以学生的学习成绩为依据,效果欠佳.我校也是这样.一些学习好的学生为了获得奖学金,只埋头读书,不注重思想品德的修养,不热爱班集体,不关心同学,也很少参加学校和社会的各种有益活动;而学习差的学生则倍受歧视,失去上进心.为改变这种现象,我受学校委托,在一个班做试点,从德、智、体三个方面考核学生,进行奖学金评定试验.我们规定,设总分为100分,每个学生在校纪律及品德操行占50%,学习成绩、体育占 The long-established scholarship system has provided opportunities for children and adolescents with difficult circumstances.
