萍乡青山矿区煤系地层中蕴藏着丰富的硬质高岭岩矿，初步勘探全区工业储量可达334．64万t。该矿床曾开展过地质工作和研究，但一直未曾开发。高岭岩矿床主要赋存在安源煤系紫家冲段上亚段的硬子槽煤层的直接底板，辉绿岩床顶板边缘。主要分布于青山井田的第五勘探钱至第七勘探
Pingxiang Castle Peak coal-bearing strata contain rich hard kaolinite ore, the initial exploration of the region’s industrial reserves up to 334.64 million t. The deposit had been geologically investigated and studied but has not been developed. The kaolinite deposit mainly exists in the direct bottom plate of the hard sub-groove coal seam in the upper sub-section of the Upper Reaches of the Anyang Member of Anyuan Coalfield, and the edge of the diabase bed.
