The liberation of Nanjing is the starting point for the establishment of a brilliant history in the People’s Republic of China. In early 1998, Nanjing Television decided to make a special feature film “Nanjing Liberation.” It is of great significance to look back at this period of history half a century ago and to reveal the unrecognized and lesser known aspects.
