In the field season of 1968, experiments were carried out to determine the effectiveness of detailed uranium surveys using the radon method. This article focuses on some of the key points of this experiment. The radon test in soils was conducted under two different geological conditions: Mount Cignano in Quiqu North and Elliott Lake in Ontario. In the Titan Mountains, the profile of radioactive pegmatites outlined by measurements of radon and thoron in soil gases is more pronounced than gamma-ray measurements on topsoil or 2-foot lots.
