‘福奇’是产于闽西北的寒兰珍稀新品,由中国兰协理事、福州兰花学会秘书长蔡世民先生和福州六和兰苑苑主翁绳国先生选育,由著名兰花鉴赏家刘清涌教授命名。‘福奇’为大叶寒兰,株高45～55厘米,叶片半弯垂,株型雄健魁伟而不失秀美。花期在11月左右,花色翠绿,花香浓郁,每一梗常开7朵花。花为多瓣多舌奇花,较正常花多一个外瓣和一个舌瓣,多出的一瓣有时也蝶化。花色翠绿。花朵繁而不乱,
