南海有三大地貌单元:即具平坦宽广沉积堆积型陆架;断裂构造发育的陆坡;由两个不同时期海底扩张形成的深海平原。
There are three major geomorphic units in the South China Sea: flat and broad sedimentary shelf-type continental shelf; continental slope with developed fault structure; and deep-sea plain formed by two different periods of seafloor expansion.
