2006年1月21日,朱铭在台湾美术馆举办“彩绘木雕展”个人雕塑展览。对众多大陆艺术界的同仁来说,朱铭这位享誉世界的艺术家还是一个较为陌生的名字,直到最近(4月2日—4月26日),中国美术馆为朱铭举办了个人雕塑作品展才为中国当代美术史稍补些微缺憾。
On January 21, 2006, Zhu Ming held a solo sculpture exhibition “Painted Wood Carving Exhibition” at the Taiwan Art Museum. For many mainland art colleagues, Zhu Ming, a world renowned artist, is still a rather unfamiliar name. Until recently (April 2 - April 26), the National Art Museum of China held a solo sculpture exhibition for Zhu Ming To make up for some shortcomings in the history of contemporary Chinese art.
