5.光接入网技术 时分、频分和空分方面的新技术将加速把光纤系统引进接入网。据了解日本在平面光波电路技术(PLC)、高密度光缆和光配线技术以及施工安装技术等方面,已使光接入网成本下降到可与电缆相比的程度。这必将大大加快光纤到家庭(FTTH)、光纤到办公室(FTTO)的建设步伐,尽早解决通信网的瓶颈问题。
5. Optical access network technology Time, frequency and space-division of the new technology will accelerate the introduction of optical fiber access network. It is understood that Japan has reduced the optical access network cost to the extent comparable to that of cables in the aspects of planar lightwave circuit technology (PLC), high-density optical cable and optical wiring technology, and construction and installation technology. This will certainly greatly accelerate the FTTH, FTTO (Fiber to the Office) construction pace, as soon as possible to solve the communication network bottleneck problem.
